The development direction of stainless steel pumps

The level of automation control at the pumping station is also increasing.


   1. Large size and large capacity

   2. High lift and high speed


   With the continuous improvement of pump cavitation and material strength, the speed of the pump is also getting faster and faster. In the 1980s, the international multi-stage centrifugal pump speed was 7500r/min, which has now increased to 10,000r/min. The increase in speed will inevitably increase the lift of the pump. In 2009, the single-stage head of the boiler feed pump has broken the record of 1000m, and the head of the multi-stage pump can reach more than 2000m. To further achieve high lift, the pump speed must be increased. After that, with the continuous advancement of technology, the rotational speed of the pump has further developed in the direction of high speed.    3. Serialization, generalization, standardization


   The serialization, generalization and standardization of products (referred to as “three-way”) are the inevitable requirements of modern industrial production processes. In 1975, the International Standardization Association developed the main dimensions and specifications of a single-stage centrifugal pump with a rated pressure of 720 kPa (ISO 2858-1975E). The performance range of this standard pump is: flow rate is 6.3 ~ 400m3 / h, head is 25 ~ 125m. In 2009, pumps in Europe that meet this specification have been sold as standard pumps. The modern pumping station can realize automatic control from unit start-up, monitoring operation, shutdown to multi-stage pumping station system adjustment and optimization scheduling.    With the development of science and technology such as atomic energy and combustion chemical industry, it will further require the development of various special water pump products with high speed, high temperature and high pressure resistance, high efficiency and large capacity.
